While we do take care in providing products to you, we cannot guarantee product availability at all times. You will be notified within 24 hours if the purchase made by you is not available for distribution pending product availability. We take all reasonable steps to ensure any product is made available within a reasonable time, however, at times, we are ultimately bound by the manufacturer’s ability to provide the product. We will keep you informed while your purchase is pending.

Once we are aware that a product is no longer available for distribution we will update our website. There may be a short delay between our stock being exhausted and the website being updated and we appreciate your patience in these circumstances. We will liaise directly with you should this be the case.

To protect our community and keep our product prices as low and fair as possible, we have temporarily added a flat $2 carrier surcharge directly to our shipping rates rather than permanently increasing the retail price of our items.

All orders will be shipped from Australia. If you are making a purchase from outside of Australia any import taxes, fees, duties or other monies payable in respect of customs will be your sole responsibility.

All orders will be shipped to the address provided by you. If those details result in the shipment being returned to us as undeliverable, shipping and handling fees paid by you at the time of purchase will have been exhausted. You will bear the sole financial responsibility for ensuring the purchase is delivered to you by the provision of an alternate delivery address or arrangement.

Having trouble entering your postcode? Due to a current Shopify system restriction, the checkout will not accept Norfolk Island postcodes if "Australia" is selected as the country.

For Customers in the United States:
All orders shipped to the USA are delivered on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis. We cover all applicable import duties, customs fees, and taxes associated with your shipment. The price you see at checkout is final, and you will not be required to pay any additional fees upon delivery.

For All Other International Customers (Rest of World):
All international orders outside of the USA are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis. This means that while we are responsible for the safe delivery of your goods to their destination country, the price paid at checkout excludes any local import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, or handling charges levied by the destination country.

The buyer/recipient is solely responsible for paying all import duties, VAT, and customs clearance fees required by local border authorities upon the shipment's arrival. If these charges are refused by the recipient, the parcel may be abandoned by the carrier, and we will be unable to issue a refund for the order or shipping costs.

Please note that we are currently unable to ship any orders to Ireland. Due to strict customs and border restrictions surrounding the transit of liquid fragrances, packages containing our refills are routinely rejected at the border and returned to Australia. Because we cannot guarantee successful delivery, shipping to Ireland has been disabled at checkout. Thank you for your understanding!

We have carefully selected our products for sale, however, if your product/s are damaged or faulty upon delivery please contact us within 48hrs for a full replacement. Contact us by email at support@smellyballs.com.au.

Alternatively you may elect to exchange your product for another of the same value. We reserve the right to charge return freight for any replacement product.

• Hygiene and Health Protection Exemption: In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, the right of withdrawal automatically expires once a product is unsealed after delivery. Due to health protection, hygiene, and product integrity reasons, our fragrance oils, concentrates, and reusable felt air freshener balls are non-returnable and non-refundable if the original protective packaging has been broken or opened.
• Eligible Items: You may only exercise your right of withdrawal for items that remain 100% unopened, unused, and in their original, completely sealed packaging.
• Return Shipping Costs: For approved change-of-mind withdrawals of unopened items, the customer is solely responsible for covering all international return shipping fees back to Australia.
• Diminished Value: You are legally liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is strictly necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.
